Easy Auto Refresh 3.4 Now Supports Refreshing to Urls From a List
6/4/2015 @ 8:58am
We've got a great new feature added to Easy Auto Refresh! Registered users can now enter a list of urls and tell Easy Auto Refresh to load a url from that list every time it refreshes.
It's probably best explained with a video, so here's an example of how it works.
To use this new feature to refresh through a list of urls, follow these steps:
Open Chrome with a single tab and navigate to the starting url.
Open Easy Auto Refresh, expand Advanced Options, and checkmark "Any page on nameofsite.com"
Checkmark "Refresh to url from a list".
Paste in the list of urls into the textbox, 1 url per line.
Click Start.
Each time the Easy Auto Refresh countdown timer reaches 0, Chrome will navigate to the next url in the list. Once it refreshes to the last url in the list, it will start all over again from the top.
There are some important tips to keep in mind with this feature. You will probably want to checkmark the advanced option "Any page on domain.com". This will keep Easy Auto Refresh active, refreshing through the list of urls, even if the web page redirects to a different page or has different parameters in the url.
Be sure to enter one url per line. I recommend using Notepad to create a text file, and pasting in 1 url per line. Save the text file so you have a backup. You can then select all urls in the file and paste them into the Easy Auto Refresh textbox.
There are probably lots of powerful things you can do with this feature. Have fun!
Don't have Easy Auto Refresh installed in Chrome yet? Head on over and download a copy. It's FREE!
