Philadelphia, PA, USA -- 1 Feb 2003 -- k.soft announces the release of version 1.4 of
ClockDummy!, a time synchronization utility for Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP.
ClockDummy! is a system utility to update your computer’s clock to an official atomic clock, add graphics to your taskbar clock, and speak the time.
It is a common problem today to have your watch, computer, and microwave showing three different times, leaving you with the confusion as to which one is truly accurate. ClockDummy! uses the official atomic clock located at the National Institute of Science and Technology to keep your computer’s clock updated to the exact current time.
While running, ClockDummy! fits seamlessly into your taskbar clock, providing enhanced graphics, custom fonts, and a range of time formats to display. While the standard Windows clock only provides the hour and minute, ClockDummy! allows it to display the month and seconds as well.
ClockDummy! comes packaged with an array of different styles for your clock ranging from the classic Windows XP "Blue" look, to a golden sunrise "Heat Ripple". Users can also select their own images and fonts to use.
One of the most interesting aspects of ClockDummy! is its ability to speak the time with a real human voice. ClockDummy! can be set to announce the time or play a sound effect on the hour, or manually with the click of a button.
Registered users of ClockDummy! receive upgrades to the latest version at no charge by visiting the company's web site to download and install the new version.
A fully functional demo is available to the public at http://www.dummysoftware.com/clockdummy.html. Program registration is US$19.95, and may be completed from the company's web site.
